5 reasons our bamboo sheets aren't like the rest

Most bamboo sheets look the same in a product photo. The differences show up in the fabric weight, the finish, the fit and the label. Here's what to check before you buy any set, and how ours measure up.

What is GSM: one square meter of Dosaze Luxe fabric on a scale reading 145 grams. More grams means more fabric: a softer, more luxurious feel instead of thin and scratchy, richer drape, less see-through, more durable and less prone to tearing and pilling. Fabric weight: Dosaze 145 GSM, ettitude 120, Cozy Earth and Cariloha not listed. 21% heavier fabric than ettitude.

1. It's made with more fabric.

Fabric weight is measured in GSM, grams per square meter. Dosaze Luxe is woven at 145 GSM, so there's more fabric in every sheet. You feel it the moment you pull it over you: a richer drape that falls instead of clinging, a sheet that's less see-through, and it stays breathable.

Check any set: is the GSM listed? Some brands don't publish it.

2. It stays fresher between washes.

Every set is treated with Silvadur™, an antimicrobial technology that uses silver ions to inhibit the growth of odor-causing bacteria on the fabric. It's applied to the sheets during finishing, so they stay fresher from one wash to the next.

Check any set: look for a named treatment. "Naturally antibacterial bamboo" isn't one.

3. The fitted sheet stays put.

Reinforced corner bands anchor underneath the mattress, so the fitted sheet stays smooth and taut instead of popping off a corner in the middle of the night. Deep pockets fit mattresses up to 16 inches.

Check any set: look at the corners, not just the elastic around the edge.

4. You know exactly what's in it.

Dosaze Luxe is 100% viscose from bamboo, not a blend with polyester. And it's OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, which means every component has been tested for harmful substances.

Check any set: read the fiber content. Some "bamboo" sheets are blended with polyester.

Working out great for me

Miracle pillow!

I had a neck/shoulder injury a few years ago and had to do physical therapy for almost two full years. Even with the daily exercises I still had regular muscle tension issues and nerve spasms that would drive me crazy for days. I've bought so many different styles of pillows and spent a ridiculous amount of money hoping to find some relief over the years but nothing has helped until now. I found an article recommending Dosaze because it's unique shape is great for combination back and side sleepers. I was skeptical but I went ahead and ordered since it was on sale. Best decision I've made this year! Within two nights of sleeping on the Dosaze pillow all of my reoccuring muscle tension and nerve spasms have completely resolved, haven't had any flare-ups, and was able to stop going to the physical therapist.

A good pillow for back sleepers

I have chronic neck pain and the contoured orthopedic pillow does help. I can also sleep on my side with it. It has not compressed significantly since I’ve been sleeping on it, which it good.

Better pillow = better sleep

I had a similar pillow that had worn out after several years and was looking for a replacement. On a recommendation I bit the bullet and bought 2 of these pillows - a standard one for me and a large one for my husband. We are hooked on Dosaze!
