The pillow relieves neck pain in three ways: (1) the innovative contour shape keeps your neck and spine aligned, which reduce neck pain because misalignment is the primary cause of neck pain when you sleep (2) the high-density memory foam provides the perfect balance of support and comfort, ensure that your head doesn't "dip" and get misaligned (3) the cooling bamboo cover regulates your temperature -- the incorrect sleep temperature can contribute to your overall neck pain.
We paid attention to every detail with our pillow. The innovative contour keeps your head in place, which works to align your neck horizontally and vertically (while other neck pain relief pillows only improve alignment in one direction). In addition, we didn't include "wings" on the side of our pillow like other brands do. While these wings are okay for holding, they get in the way and the sides of the pillows are unusable to sleep on. As a result, these pillow has only one usable height to sleep on, and that's whatever height the center of the pillow is. Because we require different heights for different sleep positions, this means that those pillows aren't good for combination sleepers. Finally, we used only the highest quality memory foam and bamboo in our product, while others tend to cut corners with recycled or low density foam and polyester covers.

Yes - we designed the pillow to work for side sleepers. The elevated sides of the pillow were designed to fit your shoulder gap, and the pillow slopes down to the back to conform to your head and neck's natural angles.
