How does the Dosaze ThermaCool pillow actually stay cool all night?

If you wake up hot, a cover that feels cool for the first hour usually is not enough. Dosaze ThermaCool uses a triple-action cooling design: a temperature regulating cover, a ventilated gel core that helps move warm air away, and an adjustable cooling fill that supports airflow through the pillow. For best results, keep the pillow loft matched to your sleep position so your head is supported without sinking too deep, which can trap heat.

What makes this pillow adjustable, and how do I change the firmness or height?

Adjustability matters because the right loft keeps your neck in a neutral, comfortable position. The Dosaze ThermaCool Adjustable Pillow has an adjustable cooling fill, so you can remove fill to make it lower and softer, or add fill back to make it higher and firmer. Start by taking out a small amount, sleep on it for a night or two, then fine-tune until your neck feels level with your spine.

Is the Dosaze ThermaCool pillow good for side sleepers, back sleepers, and stomach sleepers?

Sleep position changes how much loft and support your neck needs. The Dosaze ThermaCool Adjustable Pillow is designed for side, back, and stomach sleepers because you can customize the fill to match your build and preferred position. Side sleepers usually prefer a higher loft for shoulder clearance, while back and stomach sleepers often do better with a lower profile to avoid neck strain.

What materials are inside the Dosaze ThermaCool pillow?

Materials matter for both comfort and long-term support. The Dosaze ThermaCool Adjustable Pillow uses hybrid double-foam technology with a ventilated gel core plus an adjustable cooling fill, and it is made with CertiPUR-US certified premium memory foam. The ventilated core is designed to align your neck while allowing heat to dissipate instead of building up under your head.

Does the foam have certifications or low-VOC standards?

If you are sensitive to smells or indoor air quality, foam certification is worth checking. The Dosaze ThermaCool Adjustable Pillow uses CertiPUR-US certified premium memory foam, which indicates the foam meets standards for content, emissions, and durability. Like many new foam products, a brief airing-out period can help if you notice a new-product scent at first.

Will this pillow help with neck pain or shoulder tension?

Morning neck or shoulder discomfort often comes from poor cervical alignment rather than the mattress alone. The Dosaze ThermaCool Adjustable Pillow is built for neck support with a ventilated gel core and customizable loft, so you can set the height that keeps your head, neck, and spine aligned. If you are unsure, start with a medium loft, then adjust until your neck feels supported without being pushed upward.

How is the ThermaCool different from a regular memory foam or down alternative pillow?

Many standard pillows either go flat and lose support, or they hold heat once the foam warms up. The Dosaze ThermaCool combines supportive foam structure with a triple-action cooling approach, using a temperature regulating cover, a ventilated gel core, and adjustable cooling fill. The result is a pillow that is meant to keep its shape for alignment while managing heat through airflow and dissipation rather than just a cool-to-the-touch surface.

This is the coolest and most supportive pillow ever made. Period.

The coolest pillow I’ve ever used

“I absolutely LOVE this pillow — it’s literally the coolest pillow I’ve ever used. I love how I can adjust it to exactly what my body needs. Plus, it's the first one I've tried that truly keeps me cool. Highly recommend!”

— Christine L.

★★★★★

The best of both worlds

"This pillow really does provide the best of both worlds — all of the adjustability of a pillow like Coop, but you add additional support with the core. I esp love how you can flip the pillow and sleep on either side depending on your preference"

— John L.

★★★★★

All of the support, fully adjustable

“I’ve found that most adjustable pillows lack adequate support — the shredded foam fill just doesn’t quite do it. I love this pillow because the molded side gives you all of the support, while you can also adjust the height by adding / removing fill from the adjustable side. It really is the best of both worlds”

— Nicole J.

This pillow was IT

“I loved this pillow — I first tried the contoured orthopedic one, but when that didn’t work they gave me the option to try this for free (and keep the contoured orthopedic one!). Needless to say, this pillow was IT! Give it a try, you have nothing to lose with the sleep trial”

— Jake

Dosaze stands behind their product!

Dosaze sent me the Adjustable Pillow after one of their other pillows didn’t work for me. I have been sleeping with the Adjustable Pillow ever since! It’s so hard to know if a pillow will be comfortable for YOUR body. Dosaze understands this and really does stand behind their 60-day sleep trial! Thank you Dosaze!

I've tried the wedge & standard orthopedic pillow

I've tried the wedge & standard orthopedic pillow didn't work thermacool keeps me cool threw the night and neck feels better thank you dosaze

Finally a pillow that keeps me cool at night!

I usually don't write reviews but I have been pleased on the cooling sensation this pillow leaves through the night which I was very much looking forward to after changing so many pillows. The customer service I reached out since initially there seemed to be a delay in the shipment has been incredibly responsive and helpful.

So comfortable!

Great customer service! Amazing actually. They even emailed me back on Memorial Day! Love my new ThermaCool pillow! Just the right amount of softness and firmness and it really does keep my head cooler at night

very comfortable pillow!

i love my new pillow so much! it does stay cool throughout the night and feels so nice to lay my head on. when i first received it, i had felt that the loft of the pillow was just not enough, and when i reached out to customer support over it, they were very kind and helpful and quick with their reply! they sent me some additional stuffing for the pillow and after i put it in it was just right! no more neck/back/shoulder pain for me anymore! i sleep so well now that i have my dosaze pillow!

Feels like a luxury hotel pillow

The cover is smooth and cool, while the pillow still feels plush and supportive.

Love the cooling cover

The cover feels cool the moment I lie down and stays comfortable through the night.

Still cool after months of use

It has not turned into another hot, flattened pillow like the ones I used before.

No more neck and shoulder pain!

This pillow solved my neck and shoulder pain. I also ended up ordering the travel pillow.

Neck pain gone

I was so skeptical of how a pillow could help my neck pain and headaches. But within 2 days I had a decrease in pain and within a couple weeks I was barely going to the chiropractor for adjustments. Highly recommend!

The pillow is comfortable and stays cool. I think I should have gotten the thicker pillow.

Dosaze Contoured Orthopedic Pillow

Life changing

I am so glad I splurged on this pillow! I had no idea my regular pillow was forcing my chin down towards my neck. For years I was in near constant pain in my neck. I despaired thinking it would never get better without medical intervention. I have been pain free ever since I started sleeping on my dosaze pillow. It allows for a comfortable alignment of head and neck when sleeping on my back, and great support of my head on the raised rectangular areas left and right of the center when sleeping on my side.

Awesome Pillow!

This pillow is high quality and has made a huge difference for me. I no longer wake up with headaches and neck pain.
